Police are making all-out efforts to protect the life and property of people despite lack of resources, Balochistan’s Inspector General of Police Mohsin Butt has said.
“We are establishing investigation and intelligence schools to train our force on modern policing techniques for controlling crimes,” he said on Tuesday while addressing a farewell party held for retiring officers.
“More than 1,900 recruits are being trained at the Police Training Centre, who will be deployed to police stations short of the required strength after completion of their training,” the IGP added.
Those present on the occasion included Additional IGP Chaudhry Manzoor, DIG Headquarters Habib Hussain Imtiaz, DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema and DIG CTD Aitzaz Goraya.
