The annual Pashtoon Culture Day was celebrated across the province with zeal and fervor on Sunday, ceremonies by various pashtoon political parties were conducted in numerous cities.
Hundreds of people particularly youngster belongs to various Pashtoon tribes participated in the central ceremony held in Quetta’s Metropolitan garden and Press Club with wearing traditional Pashtoon turban and cultural dresses.
Various political party leaders including Asghar Khan Achakzai, Senator Usman Kakar, Nasrullay Zeeray, Dr. Hamid Achakzai and Haji Nizam udd Din Kakar were gathered in the ceremony and performed Atan the traditional Pashtoon dance with youngsters.
The celebrations of annual Pashtoon Culture day were held in Quetta, Qilla Abdullah, Loralai, Sibi, Ziarat, Duki, Khanozai, Qilla Saifullah, Pishin and other Pashtoon areas of the province.
Sibi Youth Unity has staged a colossal program in Sibi’s Jirga Auditorium Hall following Pashtoon Culture Day. Commandant Sibi Brigadier Zulfiqar Bajwa participated in the program as chief guest.
Commandant Sibi participated in the walk from Jirga Hall till Kalma Chowk were youngster performed cultural dance on the beats of traditional dhool.
Citizens of Sibi, tribal elders and a large number of youngsters participated in the program.
