Justice (retd) Amanullah Yasinzai on Thursday took oath as the 24th Balochistan governor during a ceremony held in the Governor House.
Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Tahira Safdar took oath from Yasinzai. Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan, provincial cabinet members, lawyers and government officials also attended the oath-taking ceremony.
The newly-sworn in governor vowed that his focus would be education, law and order, and restoration of trust between the provincial and the central government.
