Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal on 28th Oct, Monday said the provincial government has been working on an effective policy for the development of the province’s 700km long coastline to yield major energy and tourism benefits for the people of the province.
Chairing a meeting regarding the Coastal Development Authority, Kamal said through implementation of the policy planned for Balochistan’s coastal strip, tourism and energy sectors would be developed.
The initiative would benefit the local economy, he said, adding that reforms in government departments have become imperative. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Mir Abdul Rauf Rind, Mir Umair Muhammad Hassani, Additional Secretary Abdul Rehman Buzdar and DG Balochistan Coastal Development Authority Babar Khan were also present on the occasion.
