A woman and her daughter suffered severe burn injuries on Friday when two unidentified men riding a motorcycle threw acid on them and fled. The incident occurred in Railway Housing Society of the provincial capital.
The victims were identified as Farzana Bibi and Kiran who were on their way home when sprayed with acid, according to the police. Both were shifted to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital (BMC) for treatment.
