The Second Under Graduate Scientific Seminar was organized here in Quetta by the Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences Cantt, on Monday.
Students presented their research papers in the seminar. Speaking to the participants, Dr. Abdul Wadood said that owing to the high importance of research, it has been included in the curriculum of the students, adding that the efforts made by students is appreciable and the credit for their work goes to the faculty members.
Chief Organizer Brigadier Salman Saleem also apprised the participants regarding the benefits of the reseach and students presented their researches on various diseases. As per results, Sajjad Hussain Final Year acquired first position, Noor Khalid Third Year acquired second and Nasir Kakar fourth year clinched third position.
The chief Guest Engineer Ahmed Farooq Bazai distributed shields and prizes amongst the students. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the holding of the scientific seminar is encouraging step, stressing the students to get their more and more researches published. He also thanked the administration of the college to invite him as chief guest on the occasion, adding he was highly delighted having seen student presenting their researches.
