Balochistan government is taking concrete steps for the uplift of education sector in the province.

An official of provincial Education Department told our correspondent in Quetta on Sunday that about twenty nine billion rupees have been allocated for education sector in the current budget.

He said this amount will be spent on providing educational facilities in government educational institutions and up gradation of schools. 

He said 400 million rupees have been allocated for purchase of land for Campus of National University of Science and Technology in Quetta.

The provincial government has also approved a World Bank funded three year project “Global Partnership for Education” under which 725 new primary schools will be established across the province.
