QUETTA: Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Amir Riaz has said that negative forces want to damage Pakistan by using terrorism, ethnicity and sectarianism as tools.
Addressing at the concluding session of debate contests here at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEM), he called upon the nation to unite and frustrate the nefarious designs of enemy. He said that the future of Pakistan is bright and robust, adding that the development in Pakistan would also benefit Iran and Afghanistan.
He said that the Pakistan was created to last forever and it would exist ever, adding that those who doubt this should see the youth of this country. He said that the future of Pakistan is in the hands of youth of Pakistan. He said that all the entities from Gilgit to Mekran, Kashmir to Karachi make parts of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is a miracle of Allah the Almighty, adding that some people make fun of this but it is indeed an important country which is bestowed by Allah the Almighty with important land and people.
He said that Allah the Almighty raised one of the first human civilizations six thousand years ago here in this land, adding that circumstances and geography were shaped so that people could live here.
He said that many nations had dwelled here and when Islam emerged fourteen hundred years ago, people began to embrace Islam. He said that Pakistan has to cover long distances yet and added that nations see difficult times and adversaries in their national lives but unity can overcome all the challenges.
He said that the commitment and ideology of Pakistan was targeted from within and without, adding that he wants to convey message to them that Pakistan is indomitable. He said that Pakistan was heading towards a developed and peaceful country.
