QUETTA – Pakistan Railways Special Azadi Train which started a 15-day long countrywide tour from Margalla Station, Islamabad on August 12 reached Quetta on Wednesday.

A large number of people along with DS Railway were present at the Quetta Railway Station to welcome the Azadi Train.

The main objectives for running Azadi Train are to highlight the culture of all the four provinces, along with Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Azadi Train’s historical galleries and beautifully decorated cultural floats are attracting a large number of people. The galleries of Azadi Train contains the replicas of country famous and historical buildings and place like Mazar-i-Quaid, Faisal Mosque, CPEC modal, Bab-e-Khyber, Quaid’s Ziarat Residency and Shahi Qila.

Azadi Train successfully completed its tour of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh and now the train in entertaining the people of Balochistan province. The train will leave Quetta after two days stay.
