What do you think of when you hear Balochistan? A desert area, a province that never seems to hold any importance? Do you think of beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, mud volcanoes, the gorgeous Hanna Lake near Quetta? No, of course not.
A much-neglected province of our country, Balochistan is the largest province in terms of area but never seems to hold much weight-age for us in terms of tourism or beauty. Only recently, it has captured Pakistan’s attention for the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) leading to the Gwadar Port.
Balochistan is rich in beauty with breathtaking waterfalls, fruit tress and deep valleys. The land is oozing with exotic locations in every corner.
