QUETTA: Security forces foiled a bid of terror by defusing a bomb planted at railway track at Mangoli area of Balochistan, on Monday.
According to the details, security forces received information about a bomb planted at Mangoli Railway track. Subsequently, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called and the Jaffer Express en route from Rawalpindi to Quetta was stopped at Jafferabad while Akbar Bugti Express was stopped at Jacababad Railway Station including the Bolan Mail that was traveling from Karachi to Quetta.
BDS defused the bomb after a hectic ordeal of four hours in which four Kg explosives were used. The railway traffic was resumed after the path was cleared.
