QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, has said that his Government had the vision for manpower development for which a number of technical training institutes are being established in all parts of the Province.

Talking to Vice-Chancellor of the Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University and lecturers of the Girls Polytechnic Institute separately, he said that the Government had to make facilities available for technical training besides normal quality education.

Nawab Zehri told the visitors that there is a marked improvement in law and order situation and the evil designs of the negative forces had been frustrated on which the youth would rush towards colleges and universities and not to pick up a gun and take to the hills.

The Chief Minister said that he was determined and firm to ensure a better future for our children by providing them all available facilities and incentives. “We will not allow the negative forces to exploit and instigate our youth and give them a wrong direction,” Nawab Zehri told the Vice-Chancellor.

He said Government is making efforts to provide technical training facilities to youth by establishing technical training centres and institutes by earmarking more resources. The Chief Minister informed the visitors that funds would be earmarked in the next fiscal year establishing more technical training institutes.

Nawab Zehri said that his efforts are confined to developing a skilled work strength capable of dealing with all the future challenges. He said that there is no dearth of resources and talents to develop a highly skilled manpower for which he and his Government are working.

He said that the existing technical training institutes and centers are being activated and functional to meet our future requirement of skilled work strength for the growing economy.

The Chief Minister said that Balochistan has a wide and bright future in economic terms for which we have to work harder to achieve our developmental goals in shortest possible time.

He said his vision is prosperous Balochistan for which he is making serious efforts for achieving the dream at the earliest.

The Vice Chancellor urged the Chief Minister for construction of underpass at the Women University on which Nawab Zehri pledged to start work on this project very soon. The Chief Minister said that he would take up the issue of Women University campuses at Naushki and Khuzdar with the Higher Education Commission.

The Vice-Chancellor demanded construction of more girls’ hostel for the students in districts.
