Balochistan government is utilizing maximum resources for promotion of fisheries sector to make the province self-sufficient in production of white meat.
An official of Provincial Fisheries Department told our correspondent in Quetta today that construction of a Floating Fish Landing Jetty in Tak Ormara area of Gwadar is underway at a cost of more than 117 million rupees.
Similarly, a fish hatchery is also being constructed at Hub Dam in Bela area of Balochistan at a cost of more than 68 million rupees.
