Provincial Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch has said that the new Health Management Information System in Sheikh Zaid hospital Quetta will help out in mentoring the records of the patients and revenue of the hospital.
He expressed these views while addressing in the inauguration ceremony of the Health Management Information system at Sheikh Zaid Hospital Quetta on Tuesday.
“We have been working for implementation of this system since two years and finally we made it up to the mark” Rehmat Saleh said and added that Sheik Zaid is the third hospital after Agha khan and National Hospital with this capability.
The Provincial Minister argued to the doctors that they should serve the poor patients rather moving to strike, their demands are on rights therefore Provincial Government brought a package for doctors by cutting RS: 2.5 billion from the development budget.
“The health department is planning to introduce biometric system in the hospitals which will helpful in monitoring the regularity of the staff,” Rehmat Saleh Baloch said and added that the staff should be responsible as well because the Provincial Government always came forward for solving the issues of employees.
Member Provincial Assembly (PKMAP) Nasrullah Zerry, Secretary Health Balochistan Asmat Ullah, DG Health Dr. Masood Nusherwani and others also addressed to the gathering.
