QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Agriculture Sardar Muhammad Aslam Bizenjo has said that government was making efforts for the development and welfare of the masses.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Harabav Dam in Khuzdar on Wednesday. He said that the government is bringing positive change in the province, adding that the elected as representatives of the masses began to make efforts for the solution of their problems. He said that the dam has been completed with a cost of Rs 150 million, adding that he felt highly delighted while inaugurating the dam. He said that the local population would taste the fruits of development following the completion of this dam.
He said that the project was envisioned and completed in three years’ time. He said the dam would also solve the issue of scarcity of underground water forever. He said that another project is also under consideration which would soon be approved by the Federal Government, adding that the project in pipeline includes 11 dams which is a project of billions of rupees.
He said that apart from the hospital under construction in Tehsil Naal which would provide the treatment facilities to the masses in the area. He said that the masses have elected them for their service and they would not sit quietly, adding that they would remain in constant state of struggle for well being of the masses. He said that he would also advise the contractors too to do such works in future also as the masses should applaud them, adding that the Harnabav dam has been completed with all honesty and transparency.
