In the 21st century, the traditions and paradigm of warfare have been changed. States prefer asymmetric and non-traditional ways to achieve desired targets. In these approaches, one of the approaches is bullying states in couth behavior with the help of international lobbying. States often used such tactics to humiliate adversary states on behest of international players. Moreover, states achieve their desired ends by portraying other states as the oppressors or evil. Unfortunately, in context of Pakistan, India is always high handedly doing such nefarious acts. Either it is United Nations sessions or any world forums, New Delhi always comes with a rhetoric based on sheer lies and propaganda. On contrary India is responsible for up surging of insurgents in Balochistan. So, holistically, New Delhi is going with two-pronged strategies, one is hitting with help of insurgents and other is portraying Pakistan as an evil state who suppressed people of Balochistan. Credit should be given to India because usually New Delhi always plays smartly against Pakistan. Whereas Islamabad has yet not hanged Kalbushan Yadav due to strong lobbying of India in the International arena.
Recently, another case regarding Balochistan came in limelight when a renowned Baloch Activist Ahmar Mustikhan proclaimed that he heckled the former prime minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif back in 2015 when he was on a visit to the United States of America. Baloch Activist confessed that he heckled the Prime Minister as he has been feed by none other than Indian Intelligence Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). The reasoning has been quoted by the Ahmar Mustikhan was about the greater goals of India against Pakistan. He exposed the planning of India against the people of Balochistan whereas he mentioned that India is supporting terrorism in Pakistan since the Kargil War. Moreover, he reiterated that RAW has provided more than 15 million US dollars to insurgent groups for stocking terrorism in the whole province. He quoted that since 2001, India has spent 800 Billion US dollars in Balochistan for carrying terrorism and vandalism. He further said that China wants to build Pakistan whereas Indian motives are to bomb Pakistan whereas RAW is involved in sabotaging China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Moreover, India has to spend the handsome amount in the north block of India where there are think tanks, institutions, and policy formulation institutes and their work is to break Balochistan from Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention over here that Baloch Activist Ahmar Mustikhan is a founder of American Friends of Balochistan (AFB) and he always pledged for the rights of Balochistan and has always supported Indian claims over Balochistan. This time he confessed that RAW made him a mental patient and tortured him over various things. He said that when Mr Nawaz Sharif came to Institute for Peace in Washington, he was plotted by RAW and his task was to heckle the prime minister. Though he was thrown out by the security guards however, he confessed that what he did was outrageous and plotted. He took the permission from Maryland court as he is the citizen of the United States of America before issuing this as a public statement.
Analyzing the whole fiasco, Pakistan needs an effective Baloch representation in the international arena who can defend the true rights of Baloch people and portray a positive and real image of Pakistan.
