The Balochistan government on 8th May, 2019 decided to upgrade seven higher secondary schools and 80 model and high schools and activate 1,800 non-functional schools in the province so that more and more children could get education.
Minister for Information and Finance Zahoor Buledi chaired a meeting that reviewed the plight of government-run schools in Balochistan.
The meeting approved a total of 147 government schools for upgrade and vowed to make 1,800 schools functional.
