Provincial Minister for Livestock Mitha Khan Kakar has expressed his concern over the worsening plight of his department warning the livestock department would be destroyed, if the current situation carries on.
Paying surprise visit of Quetta’s only Veterinary Hospital and Poultry Farm on Wednesday Provincial Minister expressed indignation staff’s negligence and bad cleanliness situation ordering those staff can’t perform duties should leave this department.
“Tough the Livestock Department has been under severe crisis but despite all challenges the newly provincial government is taking measures to revamp the plight of all government departments.” Mitha Khan Kakar said.
During Minister’s visit Director General Livestock Ghulam Hussain Jaffar informed Minister Livestock regarding the financial woes and lack of resources lamenting that the department has been neglected in terms of funds and resources by all regimes therefore the existence of Livestock Department in severe jeopardy.
Promising funds and needy resources for the department Mitha Khan Kakar said, the new government will revive the livestock in Balochistan but we won’t tolerate any negligence by the employees of Livestock Department.
“Livestock and Agriculture departments shares two percent in provincial development but the departments due to consecutive isolation have reached near destruction.” Mitha Khan added.
