Balochistan Governor Justice (retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has called for immediate steps to control the long-lingering drought in the province.
Speaking to a delegation from Muslim Bagh on Monday, the governor said the decreasing underground water level had drastically damaged the agriculture and livestock in the province.
“There is a severe need for building small dams in the province,” he said, adding that advices from environmental experts and researchers could be effective in controlling the water crisis in Balochistan.
